Hearing of Jerry Stiller's death today reminded me of the time we chatted at a Las Vegas convention where he promoted the television show King of Queens. Hearing that my job involved promoting Nevada locations for film and television projects, he talked enthusiastically about his recent visit to Red Rock Canyon outside Las Vegas. He seemed genuinely thrilled to experience Nevada outside the casinos.
